Clackamas whitewater festival

ROLLING ON THE RIVER — Local river guides Mark LeSage (left) of Husum, Russ Cole Jr. of BZ Corner, Joetta Cole of Mosier, Ore., and Mark Zoller of BZ Corner were among loo com petitors who took part in several races at the 24th annual Upper Clackamas Whitewater Festival May 20. “It was a blast’ said LeSage. ‘We entered the Individual Oar Boat Slalom competition. We all did very well, but Mark (Zoller) cleaned up with first place. It was so much fun. Next year we may go back with a full team.”
