White Salmon River
Middle Gorge
Our Hallmark and most popular rafting adventure runs year round and includes the option of Husum Falls (Class V waterfall) water level permitting. This trip features Class III rapids during the summer months and Class IV in the higher spring-time water flows and is 7.25 miles of whitewater rafting fun. Offered year round. 9:00 & 1:30 July - Sept. 9:30 & 1:30 May - June. Mid-day all other months.

In 1981 my older brother Tracy lowered a raft off of the BZ Corner Bridge into the White Salmon River, climbed down a 100+ foot cliff and rafted his way into history by opening with my father,company founder Phil Zoller, the first commercial rafting operation in the history of the White Salmon River. Soon this lush green 7.25 mile stretch of rafting paradise was known as the best commercial rafting in the region. Fast forward several decades and the Zoller family continues to offer up unequaled rafting experiences for our guests. There is an abundance of great whitewater on this section of the river highlighted with rapids such as, Granny Snatcher, Rattle Snake, Corkscrew, Grasshopper, Siwash and the legendary (yet optional) Husum Falls. This portion of the White Salmon River has been declared "Wild and Scenic" by congress and enjoys special protections because of the quality of whitewater rafting opportunities.

Upper Gorge - to Husum Falls
High adventure rafting for strong teens and adventurous adults in a custom 4-person "mini raft" on 6 miles of the best rapids of the White Salmon River including the option of Husum Falls (Class V). This trip is primarily Class III/IV and is offered from July through September. 9:00 & 1:30

Launching further upstream than any rafting company on the White Salmon River, Zoller's offers a look at an exciting section of whitewater in one of our custom designed "Mini Rafts" bringing you the sportiest and most adventurous rafting opportunity on the White Salmon River. The combination of great whitewater, adventuresome individuals and our Mini Rafts puts you in position for maximum enjoyment of the best six miles of commercial whitewater rafting of the White Salmon River and possibly of the entire Northwest. Our custom designed Mini Rafts hold a maximum of 4 guests and one guide are able to surf waves and blast through rapids unlike any other rafts on the river and fit perfectly into the tight canyon walls of the Upper Gorge.

Until the largest dam removal project in U.S. history, Condit Dam and Northwestern Lake Reservoir have hidden and blocked this unmatched beauty and fun of the White Salmon River. Narrow canyon rafting with great rapids like Steelhead Falls, The Raceway, Jaws and others will satisfy all. Be one of the first ever to raft this portion of the White Salmon River. This canyon will change month by month over the next couple of years giving everyone the chance to experience the restoration of this canyon to a free flowing river once again.
Klickitat River
A Wilderness Experience
Wilderness beauty over the course of 18.5 miles of scenic wonder with fun fast rapids This trip is primarily Class III/IV (depending on water levels) and is offered from April through June.

Budget 6 - 7 hours out of your day. On river time equals 4-4.5 hours of whitewater rafting fun.
In whitewater rafting terms, the Klickitat River is considered a "continuous" whitewater river for its nonstop speed and action. There are so many class III rapids on this 18.5 mile stretch that we don't even try to name them all. Fast moving water, lots of splashy fun and amazing basalt head walls coming straight out of the river and towering over our heads up to 200 feet is something you will not forget. Since this is an all-day event everyone gets to enjoy a great meal on a sandy beach mid-way through your rafting adventure. With the Klickitat River being so close to our White Salmon headquarters, you will get to meet us on the White Salmon River where you can leave your vehicle secured at our headquarters while on your Klickitat River rafting adventure.
