Just east of Skamania on the White Salmon River you will find some amazing choices for whitewater rafting.
Whitewater rafting abounds near Skamania, Washington where the Columbia River cuts a sea level path through the Cascade Mountains to the Pacific Ocean. Rafting enthusiasts of all adventure levels find what they are looking for with multiple trips to choose from. The crown jewels of the whitewater rafting scene are the Klickitat and White Salmon Rivers. Both are on the north side of the Columbia River Gorge.

The Klickitat River is a Spring-time delight starting off in April of each year and running into June. If you are looking for an all day advenure that gives you the remote feeling of a wilderness experience, the Klickitat River is your ticket.
