Whitewater Rowing Clinic
Guide School

Class Details

Gracefully sliding your craft down a river with your hands on a fine set of oars is hard to top when it comes to amazing outdoor experiences. No matter your river preferences, big whitewater or smoothly flowing rivers, you will experience the feel of the river and the fun unlike most folks ever get to.

Zoller’s Outdoor Odysseys Oar-Boat Rowing Clinic puts you into the driver’s seat of a SOTAR raft and gives you the chance for on-river training with a proven professional at your shoulder.

Class Logistics

Our clinics are purposefully kept small with an instructor to student ration of no more than 3 to 1. The two days are spent on water, hands-on, providing miles and miles of training and practice.

Zoller’s provides your SOTAR raft and all associated river gear along with lunch each day. Students provide their personal river gear such as a PFD, helmet, footwear and wet-suit or dry suit.

Students meet their instructors at Zoller’s Outdoor Odysseys headquarters (1248 Hwy 141 White Salmon, Washington) both mornings. Zoller’s provides all shuttle and logistics for the two days. Clinics generally conclude no later than 5:00 each day.

Local lodging and eateries are available. Students are responsible for lodging and meals with the exception of lunch being provided both days (bring snacks too, because you can’t float a river without snacks).
